Community Alerts

The Sheriff’s Office will utilize this Community Alert page to pass on to the public information that is considered by the agency to be of significant importance. 

Information, as an example, could address issues such as missing person cases, scams reported as on-going in the county, wanted persons that pose a significant threat to the community at large, or messages regarding disaster recovery efforts.

  •  MISSING PERSONS

The Sheriff’s Office is happy to report that there are no active community alerts concerning missing persons at this time.

  •  SCAMS

The Adair County Sheriff’s Office regularly receives reports of scams and fraud ongoing in the community.  Scams will commonly involve telephone solicitations, internet transactions and door-to-door home repair.
